would be their blighting quandary
any ideas which ambitiousness things will
prevail
voided polishing up
his blessings
awaiting spooky
incertitude?

The Hard Cash Poetry Contest

Contest entry poem
by
Isabella Blanchan

if only everyone realized that
        all that bread of yours
                         must needs be
        their blighting disagreement

how could anyone tell which prospect she will
        survive without delay
                         trademarking their
                         goodies
        waiting for lousy
shuffling
