Cut Waters Day One

Posted by admin on February 28th, 2009

The initial five verses in the Bible genesis story start our existence. The teller of the creation story account is ones perceptive aim. The fact taken in outside the story teller has no value to the Bible account. God, as teller, start this creation in the state of nothingness. Angel, as the teller, places the creation genesis in the host world. The Bible story states Moses was told this fact about the creation. God/angel told Moses, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. The first truth about the statement is it discerns a thought about God. The statement missing “I” eliminates God as the teller. Angel told Moses, God made the existence of his world. The “beginning” was God introduction of Himself to the host of angel. Angel is telling Moses God structuring of the heaven and then the structuring of the earth.

Angel in the genesis story used the term heaven and earth in lure of God definition. The heaven was God air cut of the waters. The earth was the state for the host. Angel story relates “first cut God the waters for the host”. Angel held belief of their world was the existence. Angel relates a moment outside the host known fact of God. Angel tells Moses of its host world. Angel told of an event among its host. Angel defines to Moses thoughts among its host concerning others in the existence. Angel states, “And the earth was without form; and void”. The earth/host was without fact or reality which meant a lie. Angel conveys to Moses the acclaim of others below its host world. Angel existence is in the light. The world acclaimed was stated to be in the darkness. The reader of the Bible story first task is to realize the account realities. Moses was given a full genealogy of man coming unto himself. Moses to record all these facts had to take them down in short hand. The short hand gave a development of other sequence from the story statement to statement.

Angel states, “And darkness was upon the face of the deep”. Angel defines to Moses a change in its host world. This new wonder cast with the state of darkness. The host of angel had their concept of the light and darkness. Angel defines the light and darkness as waters. Angel telling of “the deep” relates the waters of its host world. Angel existence in its host world light water did not know the darkness. The darkness water balanced the light water existence. Angel told Moses of a cut in its host world at a spot. Angel called this spot “the deep”. This spot in the Bible story also was known as “the bottomless pit”. This term defines by the acclaimer of others in the darkness world and now the spot its gate. The acclaimer assuring the fact the spot was total darkness water.

Angel world waters were divided to sides. The “deep” broke the alignment ascending darkness into the light. Angel conveys to Moses at this moment in the story God was not known to be there god air cut the waters at this spot. God definition of the heaven relates the acts by this air. The air cut the waters up and low of its state. The air of God took the form of a sphere. This sphere balanced at the waters alignment of the spot. The air 1 took state half in the darkness water and half in the light water of angel world. The air 1 positioned at the core of the spot accumulated a condensed mix of the waters. The condense mix waters dome the air 1 and expanded from the core of the spot. The condense mix waters giving state to a loose mix of the waters. The loose mix waters coming to a “face” or surface contrast zone. The contrast zone was waters not mixed but divided in the spot. The “darkness upon the face of the deep” contrast angel world light water. The “light upon the face of the deep” contrast is angel world darkness water.

Angel states, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”. The “Spirit of God” was a member of the host of angel. This member of angel felt the spot was composed of waters. Angel told Moses of one among the host of angel who touched the spot. The angel touch on the state of the “deep” broke the contrast zone. The contrast zone motioned illustrated the loose waters beneath. The “Spirit of God” not as the host of angel believes not the darkness had absorbed the light. This angel believed the light was still there in the spot. This angel act on the “deep” exposed those waters.

“And God said, Let there be light.” Angel relates to Moses, “and there was light”. The air 2 into the spot shatters the contrast zone. The air 2 domed the condense mix waters over the air 1. Angel states, “and God divided the light from the darkness”. The loose mix waters become a contrast zone to the world of angel waters. “And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night.” Angel relates to Moses God structuring of the heaven to form the host. God air 1 forming the state called the “deep”. God air 2 forming the Day and Night seen in the world of angel.

Angel states this air 2 caused the contrast zone to rotate. Angel tell Moses, “And the evening and the morning were the first day”. The spot God cut in the world of angel was a sphere.

May we all grow in the wisdom and prosperity of God will,

Picking A Web Host

Posted by admin on February 28th, 2009

Individuals that own websites know the importance of having a good web host. They also know how difficult it is to pick one. There are so many hosting companies providing services on the internet, it is hard to differentiate one from another. Prices are usually the same so a person looking for hosting should focus on the features when selecting a host.

First you should see if the web host charges a setup fee. If they do then do not do business with them. Most good web hosts set everything up with no charge. Another important thing to look at is the term of the hosting commitment. Some web hosts only offer long term services for 12 to 24 months while others keep the commitments as short as 1 or 2 months. Shorter terms are good because many sites do not end up being developed.

One of the most important things you should pay attention to is the customer support. Finding a host with 24 hour assistance and live chat can assist you with keeping your website up and functioning no matter what time of day it is.

To evaluate web hosting companies thoroughly make sure to research a few different ones and also read customer reviews so that you can make the correct choice.

Mighty Warrior Crushed Enemy

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2009

Hell to Shun Heaven to Gain

The streets are crowded, the shops are thriving, clubs filled with delights and pleasure. Immorality became the thing of the past and worldly pleasures took control. The sun shone, the rain poured, the wind blew, the lightning struck, the thunder roared, the earth quaked and the people rolled. A black cloud appeared in the sky as small as a man’s hand, but it got bigger and brighter until the light filled the whole sky. Celestial beings flew in the sky and the Mighty Warrior came and crushed the enemy.

Look and See

The mountains knew, the earth knew and all other created things knew, but people knew not. The earth groaned in pain, unleashing its fires of hell against the human race. But still they remained blind to the fact that time’s running out for them and feel so comfortable remaining in their stupor. But that’s okay if this is what they have chosen. Remember, judgement day is coming. Whether we believe in God or not, we will all have to give an account for the life lived on earth.

Can’t you see how the nations are angry? We love ourselves and give much disregard for others. Are you noting the frequent disasters? People’s denial and the audacity of those dare to blaspheme about the existence of God and his Son Jesus Christ our saviour? Note also, children’s disgrace to themselves and their families by choosing to become criminals. This is of the prophetic signs Jesus foretold would occur before his eminent return.

His Promise

Jesus promised that he would return and that we must take heed of the signs taking place in our world today, so that he would not come upon us as a ‘thief in the night’. It is certain that he will do so to those who do not listen and live the life which he gifted them. This he has promised! He was sent to give us hope of eternal life by dying for our sins and rising again. Upon his resurrection, he promised his disciples that he would come again, he said: “Preach and tell the world about my promises”. He also said to his disciples; “I am going to prepare a place for you, and when I return, I will receive you unto myself, and where I am, that’s where you, my people, will be.” He said; “Have faith and believe in God or it would be impossible to please God.” The bible states that; “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen and that we are saved by his grace and not by works.”

Fashion of His Coming

Jesus says that we would see in the sky a small cloud, small as a man’s hand. This cloud would become bigger and brighter. His father and his angels will escort him back to earth. His eyes would be as flames of fire to take vengeance upon those who have denied and blasphemed his name and lived in sin. Yet, he would be unto his saints a glorious redeemer, merciful, gracious, loving, kind and a saviour to them. But to the wicked he will be like a consuming fire.

Jesus also promised that he will return as Kings of Kings and Lord of Lords. Upon his head will be a triple crown. His coming will be no secret, it fact, it will be tremendously loud. The dead will rise from their resting places, even those who pierced him. This, Jesus will call the first resurrection. The saints will rise at his coming and will welcome him in the air. Those who pierced him shall only rise to witness him who they tortured and crucified with such evil. His brightness will slay them and they will return to their dusty graves awaiting the second resurrection, when all the wicked shall rise to stand before their maker to be sentenced”.

Moreover, Jesus says that he would shine brighter than the sun and his brightness will slay the wicked, but his saints will behold him because he would change their earthly bodies to a glorious one in a twinkling of an eye. They will live in his presence.

He will appear in the sky where everyone will witness his coming, but many shall run to the mountains and say; “Fall on us, hide us from him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb (Jesus)”. But, Jesus will take his people home with him in glory, including those who will rise from the dead. Satan and his demons will be left on the earth awaiting their final punishment from the Almighty God. The earth will be in complete darkness and God’s enemies will be ruined. Ruined, because the earth at the coming of Christ will reel like a drunkard and a mighty earthquake will befall all creation and works of mankind.

Read the word of God and make a decision of eternal life or death. I trust your decision will be the right one.

God bless you!

White Sun - The Heavenly Seal

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2009

The Heavenly Seal is one of the Three Heavenly Treasures that a recipient of Tao of Heaven will receive during the ceremony of transmission of Tao. It is a Heavenly Contract (He Tong) or agreement established between the recipient and Universe or God. It is also to confirm that the recipient becomes a family member of Maitreya Buddha and a disciple of the Heavenly Teacher “JiGong.” This is explained by Heaven that it is the official registration of our names in the Book of Life in Heaven. It will entitle us to transcend the cycle of birth and death, and eventually attain eternal life. This is mentioned in the Bible (Revelation 20:15),

“Those who did not have their names written in the book of the living were thrown into the lake of fire.”

This contract thus enables devotees of Tao of Heaven to re-establish their relationships with God and to remind them of the rightful role that they must play in their lives. Let us probe into the meaning of The Heavenly Seal.

On the right hand, there are twelve points which represent the twelve phases of one cycle of Heaven and Earth which is 129,600 years. Each phase is 10,800 years and by going one cycle around the twelve points, the first point is called “Zi” and the twelfth is called “Hai” in Chinese. When “Hai” and “Zi” are combined together, “Hai Zi,” it means a “child” or “baby.” The message is that to be one with Heaven and Earth, we need to hold an innocent baby in our hand meaning the relationship with God is that of a parent-child relationship which is also mentioned in the Bible (Matthew 18:1-4) that says,

“I assure you that unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. The greatest in the kingdom is the one who humbles himself and becomes like this child.”

Jesus also said, “Blessed are the children for the kingdom of God is theirs.” In other words, we must become like children in order to enter the kingdom of Heaven and be with God. This implies that we can see the characteristics of the Godly in a child. If we look around, all entities of nature’s creation, including all flora and fauna and human beings, are at their purest and the most harmonious state when they are at the embryonic or young age, even the wild animals. In Confucian term, this is known as the heart of a new born baby.

A child or a baby has no greed and hatred, neither are they judgemental or discriminatory. Such is our pure and original nature we must strive to manifest. This is also the significance of the portraits of Goddess of Mercy or Mother Mary carrying a baby in their hands. They serve to be a reminder to our true identity and the way we should treat one another.

We are all brothers and sisters between the four seas according to Confucius. We may differ in color, cultural background, religious belief and faith and language we speak, in fact we are one family in terms of our spirituality. In the realm of Truth, in spite of our superficial differences, we are all one entity in the eyes of Heaven. If we can accept and understand this, then any differences, disputes or conflicts can be easily resolved. We will not be jealous of other people’s success because we view their success as our own. In the same token, we will not insult others for their failure because their failure is also our failure. Such is the essence of Tao and oneness. This is the essence of our Godly nature and the unconditional love that knows no boundaries.

Anyone can come forward to be initiated with The Heavenly Three Treasures regardless of color, faith or race because Tao of Heaven is not a religion. It is the awakening of our inner divine selves and The Heavenly Seal in essence is like holding the entire universe within our hands. It would enable us to be one with the universe and God. This coincides with a quote from the Bible (Revelation 22:13),

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

In the temple of Tao of Heaven, this is what Heaven says about The Three Heavenly Treasures during the transmission:

1] First, the ancient Hand Seal, bestowed as the original proof at the soul mountain is transmitted (Referring to The Heavenly Seal).

2] Second, the Right Portal, the essence of the White Yang Dharma is pointed (Referring to The Third Eye or Divine Eye).

3] Third, the wordless sutra, the mystical spell that reaches Heaven is transmitted (Referring to the Heavenly Mantra).

Author: T.A Chew

T.A Chew grew up near a Taoist temple and was curious at how the deities using their fingers to get answers from Heaven when asked upon by devotees. The movements of the fingers showed similarity to The Heavenly Seal and upon initiation of Tao in the year 1995; he realized that it explained one cycle of Heaven and Earth and the mysteries of life. Achieving Sales Goals - 9 Steps to Achieving Your Sales Goals

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2009

Have you created your plan for the year? Do you know where you want your sales to be a year from today? How many more clients do you want to sign on? How much money do you want to make? If you haven’t started thinking about your sales goals, you’re likely to be in the same place this time next year.

The definition of a goal is “a dream with a plan and a deadline.” We’re always hearing about creating goals, yet the majority of our adult society does not even set goals in writing. The most common reasons people don’t reach their goals are they fail to write them down, fail to make a plan, and fail to take action. Without knowing where you want to go and how you’re going to get there, you’ll never reach your goal destination.

Here are (9) steps that will help you achieve all your goals and dreams:

  1. Create your S.M.A.R.T. goals for the year. Make sure your goals are vivid and specific, measurable in quantity, achievable, realistic but also a stretch, and a timeline of by when you’ll reach your goal.
  2. Write all the barriers you can think of that might get in the way of you achieving your goals. By writing down all the thoughts on paper, helps to diminish them.
  3. Select the top (3) goals you want to reach in the next (3) months from your list, and commit yourself to taking an action step every day to achieving these goals.
  4. Write specific action steps for each goal. An action step doesn’t have to take very long to do. It could be spending 10-15 minutes daily working towards that goal. If your goal is to sign on (4) new clients in the next (3) months, an action step could be making (10) new prospect calls each day before 9 am.
  5. Make a list of people who can support you in reaching your goals. They may also have goals that you can support them in reaching. People like to help, so ask them.
  6. Put your goals in a visible place so you can see them daily. Post them on your desk, in your car, on your bathroom mirror.
  7. Every day read your goals aloud. Speak your goals in the present tense, as if you’re already there. The more you say your goals aloud and to yourself, the more real they become.
  8. Visualize yourself having reached your goals. See yourself succeeding. How excited you’ll be when you bring in those new clients and get that bonus commission check!
  9. Promise yourself that you will achieve your goals. If you want this to be the year of sales breakthroughs, then it’s up to you to commit yourself emotionally, mentally and physically. Otherwise, it’s likely not to happen.
  10. If you’re saying to yourself right now, “I have no time to do this,” then making more time in your life should be one of your first goals of the year!

    Assignment

    1. Create your goals for the year using the S.M.A.R.T. system.
    2. Write a list of any barriers you think might get in the way of you achieving your goals.
    3. Select (3) goals you want to achieve in the next (3) months.
    4. Write specific actions steps for each of your (3) goals.
    5. Make a list of people who can support you in reaching your goals. Call and ask them. Then set up weekly support calls.
    6. Put your goals in a visible place so you can see them daily.
    7. Every day read your goals aloud in the present tense.
    8. Every day visualize yourself having reached your goals.
    9. Every day commit yourself to achieving your goals.

Managed Web Hosting Can Make Your Job Much Easier

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2009

With managed web hosting, the hosting company provides technical services and administration for your server so you don’t have to worry about it.

They handle things such as testing and management of networking and server hardware, system maintenance, security patches, and software installation. They also maintain the hardware itself to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

If problems occur with a managed server, the hosting company’s support staff will take care of them. This makes it much easier for you if you’re not technically skilled and don’t have someone who is working for you.

Good managed hosting companies will take care of installing and maintaining server-based applications for you. This includes such things as databases, security systems, scripting languages, and shopping carts.

They can also monitor your web site’s traffic patterns and storage for you. If you get a spike in traffic or an ongoing increase in visitors, they will adjust your bandwidth and storage to support the additional resources required.

What To Look For In A Managed Web Host

Before you sign up for a managed hosting plan, you need to be sure the hosting company can meet your needs. Talk to them about the amount of traffic and resources that you will need and ensure that they are able to offer you a server that will meet those requirements, with room to grow in the future.

Do some research on the internet and see what kind of reviews and feedback the hosting company gets from other customers.

Because the hosting company is handling your technical support and administration under a managed hosting plan, you need to be sure that their response time is fast and their staff are technically equipped to handle problems.

Look for a managed host that provides you with a dedicated account manager who you can contact with any requirements or problems. This gives you a single point of contact which makes communication much easier and more effective.

      The Perfect Support

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2009

      Hosting Support - An Introduction

Imagine yourself as a person running a small-medium sized online store that concentrates on affordablly prized gift items, and say, it’s Christmas time. Everybody is on a shopping spree, and you have been waiting for this vacation to arrive, as it is the time of the year when your business really blooms, and with which’s revenues you have got to plan for the year to come.

Say, your site goes down due to some sort of problems associated with your server on say, the 23rd of December, or on Christmas eve. You will be contacting your hosting company in frenzy, and just imagine if there’s nobody there to provide you with prompt support and resolution for your issue.By the time boxing day arrives, nobody will need to send gifts anymore to anyone. You have lost your business, and now your site and business has got a notorious reputation of not being active when it counts.

The above is just a worse case scenario explained to put forward a point. Quality support is the backbone of a hosting company. It is the pillar on which a hosting firm rests it’s credibility. Speedy and accurate customer service is rare and indicates a superior overall hosting service. When choosing a web host, what customers generally look for are Server performance, Space, Traffic allowed, Features, Cost, and most importantly Customer support.

If a hosting company is one which takes it’s business seriosly, their technical support must be perfect by all means. Determining whether technical support is dependable is important, because if anything goes wrong with your site, you are going to be contacting your know-it-all customer care rep. However, in the real world, we know that knowledgeable customer care is hard to find.

Most of the hosting companies claim that they have techs working round the clock in their organizations, managing their state-of-the art systems. While this in fact may be true, sometimes, the people working with the support might be the most unprofessional and underqualified ones. Due to the huge demand for information technology professionals today, many web hosts are not able to find employees who are well trained in OS concepts, network technology and control panel specifications. Other firms pump in a lot of money to advertising and marketing and gives good quality customer support only the lowest priority. In both instances, it is the customers who eventually suffers due to the lack of competence in handling their issues related to hosting.

The following is a small article gives a brief insight into the hosting support considerations for the newbies in business, as well as any host who have got high regards for the quality standards of their company. Before proceeding, please keep in mind the fact that Web Hosting Support is not child’s play. It is something that is NOT to be taken for granted.

Finding the Right Support for you

Finding the perfect support for your company is not a very easy task. Every webhost who have got serious thoughts about their hosting support would be having certain expectation levels regarding the quality of support. Only if your support matches / outperforms your expectations would you feel relaxed, relieved and be happy with them.

The very first concern regarding support is how to keep things going 24 / 7. Every webhost provides their customers with a 24 / 7 support promise, and some even give their customers a money back guarantee on any failure to keep up the promise. You should be implementing methods to ensure that your support team covers the 24 hours of the day effectively, and co-ordinate between them regarding the technical and administrative aspects of your servers.

Then comes the cost part. There are options for maintaining an inhouse team of technical experts, or outsourcing to an outsourced hosting support company. You should choose your support wisely with efficient computations of your expenditure and profit margin. You should do it in such a way that the quality of support is not compromised, and at the same time you have the decent profit to enhance your business in the long run. Please note that in the very beginning itself, you should set the standards, and should never go below them. Remember - It’s a jungle out there, with huge competition. If you have to survive, you have to be the best; and to be the best, you have got to give your customers the best. Manage high standards…. returns would come automatically.

Web hosting support not only means providing technical solutions to your end customers; but the sales / billing support and timely administration of your servers are equally important. You can manage the sales / billing issues yourself, or you can avail the aid of a graduate with good customer skills, and excellent knowledge on the packages / features / options that you provides. Regarding the server administration, you require the service of a good system administrator to perform the timely software upgrades, and the other fine tuning aspects of the server for it’s smooth functioning. It is always an additional advantage to maintain a team of technical experts who can perform your technical support as well as server administration; rather than having separate teams for the same. It would reduce the overall costs involved, and will enhance quality of customer support due to the better knowledge of the servers.

      In-House or Outsourced??

Now comes the big question. Do you need an in-house team of technicians, or do you want to outsource your support to a support company? There has been disputes over this on most of the web hosting forums. Both the options has got advantages and disadvantages. But on tallying with the positive and negative sides of both of them, my vote goes to outsourced support. A comparison of the advantages is provided in the chart below:

      ADVANTAGES

      —————

      In-House

      1) Direct interaction with the support staff in person

      2) Direct recruitment of the support staff yourself, so as to meet your ideal requirements on first-hand

      3) Local market knowledge and expertise when it comes to sales and marketing

      4) Ready availability-upon-call of your in house team in case of any emergency

      Outsourced

      1) Far cheaper than what is required to maintain an inhouse support team

      2) You can concentrate on your business marketing, while the outsource company takes care of the technical side.

      3) Expertise in specific fields related to every server software.

      4) No hassles with the planning of shifts or personnel to manage the 24 / 7 support, as it is taken care of by the outsource company.

      5) No issues associated with training the support staff.

Outsource companies are able to provide you with high quality, but cheap support due to the low cost of living standards in those countries. Most of the hosting companies are located in the United States, Canada and Europe, and the major outsource companies are located in countries like India. Due to the comparatively lower cost of living in countries like India, the above is made possible. With inhouse support, you have to pay the wages that is par with the living standards in the United States and such; which makes it an expensive option.

There are several myths related to outsourcing jobs. According to the trade and foreign aid research conducted by The Heritage Foundation , the American economy has only benefitted from outsourcing jobs to the asian countries, and has not gone down, as the general concept is.

But with outsourced support, you have got to make the right choice. Due to the huge demand for professionals in the ITES ( Information Technology Enables Services ), many webhosts can’t find employees with expertise in the relevant fields. You should be doing a research on the work culture and standards of the different outsourced companies before making the right source. A search for the leading outsourced companies in forums like http://webhostingtalk.com can provide you with pro and con views that you’ll require to make the decision.

Still, most of the outsourced companies provide you with a testing period of upto a month to test them out. You can utilize this time period to analyze the quality of your support company, if you are not sure about it.

The disadvantages associated with the two types of support are provided in the chart below:

      DISADVANTAGES

      ——————

      In-House

      1) Expensive when taking into consideration the living standards in North America and Europe

      2) Headaches related to personnel management related with maintaining an inhouse team for support

      3) Remedies are to be made by you in case of any immediate non availability of support staff due to reasons like their resignation without prior notice, termination, expiry etc.

      Outsourced

      1) No direct interaction in person with the support staff. ( overcomed if efficient chat support is provided with a contact person at the company )

      2) Have to get accustomed with your support people, as they might keep on changing according to the outsource company’s internal policies.

      3) Have got to make sure of the written ( spoken too, if required ) language proficiency of the company staff, as English is not the mother tongue in the outsourced companies.

The language barrier could be an issue with only a few cheap quality outsourced support companies. It would be a good measure to talk to their representatives / contact points over chat / telephone to get an idea of how it’s going to be overall. With the leading support companies, the language problems should not happen, as they would have required formal training both technically, as well as with customer orientation. Still, it is very important from your part to make sure of their support quality.

To summarize, it is always better to choose a good outsourced support firm, that maintains it’s promises and does not comprise on quality, rather than yourself employing separate staff to handle your technical support, sales / billing and server administration. ( Unless you have got the money to roll, and is keen on having all your employees available in person upon your call )

      The Quality Factor

Speaking of quality, what do one exactly mean by or point to when talking about the Quality of Support ( QoS ) ? Quality is not an accident, but the collective output of well planned stages of service, with the very best systems to back them up. When we refer to the complete QoS, there are a lot of points that comes into consideration - Being knowledgeable, Polite, Communicative, Honest, Fast, Empathetic, Competent, Responsible and above all, overall Perfection. Let’s check out how these becomes important.

Being knowledgeable is the most important part. Always keep in mind that our customers needs competent people at the receiving end of their mails and calls. By being knowledgeable, we mean that the support person should be possessing the proper knowledge level related to the support and service that we are offering. In this case, say, if you are a host who offers Cpanel hosting on Red hat Enterprise Linux servers, the technical support staff that works for you should be having extensive knowledge in the following areas:

      Linux Operating System structure

Linux commands - common and advanced

      Linux Internet server implementations

      Linux server security

Differences between RHEL, and other versions of RedHat Linux, and also other distros and flavors of Linux. Proficiency in Unix / Solaris flavors will be an added advantage.

Cpanel control panel proficiency using both fronted tools ( administrative / user control panel interfaces ) and also the Cpanel control panel specific files in the backend of the servers

Overall, by being knowledgeable, it means that the support team must be well qualified and trained to handle the job that they are doing. Choose your team of experts wisely.

Responsibility of your support team is another important aspect. There is a lot of difference between a person who has undergone years of dedicated computer study in school and college doing this job, and a teenager with some computer background doing it part-time. The support team should be responsible in addressing various heterogeneous issues, and should also be good with the decision making related to the smooth functioning of the servers.

Say, one of your servers is having an issue with the apache server software running in the server being not compatible with PHP, as a result of a latest control panel upgrade. Your support team must not only be able to fix the immediate requests from customers hosted in this server, but should also be taking the necessary steps to identify the root cause of the issue, implement it in the server under question, and also check the rest of the servers ( if any ) for similar compatibility issues, and get them fixed, so that no unnecessary botherations are avoided for both the party - the customer and the support rep.

To sum up things, the support techs should not be just people to see off the day to day issues of the end customer, but they should be responsible so as to ensure that the server is fine tuned to see off any vulnerability associated with it, so that no issues arise from within the server as a result of an exploitation of that.

Then comes the communication part. This is as important as being knowledgeable. A support technician needs to address an issue raised by you or an end customer in grammatically correct language, and also including all the important points related to the issue, that the customer should be made aware of. A polite, consice and communicative reply addressing the various aspects of a support ticket always gives the end customer a feeling of care. A good support tech is one who empathises the client, i.e, think by standing in the client’s shoes. When a support person can feel the client’s problems, and read in between the lines, it puts the end client at ease, no matter what the issue is. Just take the case of the following scenario. A customer has published the following support ticket:

      ==============================================================

      Hi,

I am not able to send mails out of my account user@foo.com. The mails are not going out of Outlook Express, and I am getting the following error:

Mail refused error “sorry that domain isn’t in my list of allowed rcpthosts error 553″

Please get it fixed ASAP. I am unable to contact my customers !!!

      Paul Smith

      ==============================================================

And consider the following replies, which implies the same message, and tell me which one feels better:

      Response # 1 :

      ==============================================================

This is since you are not doing POP before SMTP. Check your incoming mails, before trying to send them using OE.

      Support team

      ==============================================================

      Response # 2 :

      ==============================================================

      Hi Paul,

This error is caused when email client software configured with multiple email accounts from different domains is used to send email to an account that it has not checked for messages first. To get over this, always make sure to check the incoming mails using your Outlook Express, before trying to send mails out of it. This is called POP before SMTP.

An easy remedy is to check your email from user@foo.com before sending or set your email client to check email every 15 minutes or close and reopen your Outlook Express. It shall work for you, and you shall be able to mail your customers in no time.

      Best Regards,

      Tech name

      Support team

      ==============================================================

Upon examining the above two replies, what do you feel? No matter how frustrated the end customer who sent in the ticket might be, response # 2 will provide him with the “care factor” that response # 1 could not do. In response # 2, the support tech has done the following:

Analyzed that the customer is not very techny-savvy

Understood that he is trying to send in some important mail(s), and is frustrated with things not going working correctly for him

Replied the customer very politely and with atmost care keeping both the above two considerations in mind.

Support techs should always be polite to the customers. Some of the customers may even use harsh terms while mailing the support team, due to their frustration. A support tech should just ignore those comments, keeping in mind the fact that it is nothing personal and the customer is just angry with some utility not working for him properly. There are certain rare cases, when the support team receives really hard-to-interact-with customers. Some people might just do not understand what the support person is trying to say, or not listen what he is asking the customer to do. In these rare cases of non co operation, it is always better for the hosting owner ( you ) to respond to the customer asking him politely to co operate with the support team, or any solution to his problem might get unnecessarily delayed.

The overall perfection of a support team is the right combination of the following qualities:

      1) Technical Superiority

      2) Command over written and communicative skills

      3) Politeness , Friendliness and Empathy

      4) Responsibility

      5) Endurance

The webhosts, on the other hand should also understand that the support team is an integral part of his business, and treat them with respect and consideration. The webhosting owner should be a good manager here, who knows how to make his support team work with their maximum potential for him. At the same time, he should not pressurize them by unnecessarily interfering in their job. Always keep them at ease, and make them feel free to approach you with any of their requirements / suggestions.

      Conclusion

To conclude, when you appoint the support team, to assist with your business, make sure of the following things:

You get what you are promised of ( 24 / 7 support , and the exact time limits required to reply to, and resolve a problem )

Your support team co ordinates perfectly with you, and has got a good knowledge on the plans, services, and offers that you provide your clients with, so that they can be serviced better, and on time.

Your support team is friendly and courteous, and is always willing to go that ‘extra step’ when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Your support team is extremely knowledgeable and should be able to do anything that their job demands out of them.

You should be in excellent rapport with your support team, and should let them be at ease with you; and at the same time you should know where to draw the fine line as well.

In the webhosting business, where stiff competition awaits you, it is always the customer evangelism ( customers preaching the good points of your webhosting service ) that brings in clients. There is no publicity as mouth publicity. Your support team would be responsible for more than 80% of it. If they are good, your business shall flourish, and if it’s the other way around, you are going to have a tough time in the future.

So choose wisely. There is a bright future awaiting you.
